The Palau Chess Federation has over 50 members who compete in tournaments held regularly
at the Knights & Rooks Chess Club in Koror. The Federation's president, Roberto Hernandez,

The Solomon Islands Chess Federation has around 40 members who compete in friendly tournaments
in Honiara. The Federation's president, Anthony Maelasi, plans to hold an international
round-robin event in 2009 and to send a player to the 2009 Oceania Zonal Chess Championship.
